Lions

Lion is the Cub Scout program for Kindergartners.

In the Lion's Den we learn to work together as a team. We also learn about friendship, citizenship, fitness, and safety.

Pack 323 Lions meet twice monthly to introduce the kids to scouting. To earn their rank badge, our Lions will complete five adventures of themed, multidisciplinary activities.

Lion's Honor

To earn the Lion's Honor badge, a Cub Scout will be able to:

Show the Cub Scout sign. Tell what it means. ✌️
Repeat the Cub Scout motto. Tell what it means.⚜️
Show the Cub Scout salute. Tell what it means. 🫡
Show teamwork and good sportsmanship by playing a game with your den. 🙌
Participate in an outing. 🏕️

Fun on the Run badges are earned when a Cub Scout:

Learns and demonstrates three exercises they can do each day. 🎖️
Makes a nutritious snack for the den. 🥘
Understands the importance of rest. 🛌
Participates as a den in Jungle Field Day. 🏃

Mountain Lion

The Mountain Lion's badge shows Scouts:

Gather the outdoor items you need to have with you when you go on an outdoor adventure, and understand how they are used. Also understand and commit to practicing the buddy system. 🎒
Learn what SAW (Stay, Answer, Whistle) means. Demonstrate what you can do to stay safe if you become separated from the group when you are outdoors. 📢
Demonstrate an understanding of respect for animals and nature when participating in a learning hike. 🌳
