Bears is the Cub Scouts program for 3rd grade or 8 year olds.

Bear Scouts do adventures described in their Bear handbook that advance them towards their Bear rank. By completing six adventures, the Bear rank is earned.
Cub Scouts who've completed the second grade and earned the Bobcat Badge, may start earning the Bear rank.
